a bunch of surprising losses this week and another escape by Iowa, i wonder how much longer they can keep doing this. good to see Penn State and Utah come away with wins and next week will be big for Penn State as they verse Ohio State

Indeed, they need to investigate those refs, it felt like they were calling everything for Iowa

We won, but I was expecting a blowout, the team totally flopped in the 1st half. We ended up going with our backup QB who is a freshman in the 2nd half, I think we just needed a spark, which he did provide and we finally were able to pull away in the 4th quarter. But now we have a debate who to start at QB, I think we'll go back to Cain at least I hope we will, I guess I'm not a big fan of starting freshman Qb's, until Wynn can prove me wrong. But we are 7-1 and have yet another home game next week a winnable one vs. a weak opponent, so it would be a good week to experiment with the two Qb's.

LMFAO now it's 38-13.
Tate is hurt and there starting center is out. The new center has given up like 14 points by himself through safeties and crap. The new center blows and it doesn't help at all.

The only thing I keep telling myself is this is a very good team loaded with freshman and sophomores who will all be healthy again next year and by then I can only pray we get someone in on defense who didn't come from the Ohio school for the retarded.

They'll all be back next year, but hopefully only the ones on offense start, because there's no way we're ever winning with the blow hards we have on defense. Brandon Graham is probably the only good defender we have left. That 5 star from Ohio plays like he's from Ohio, and the other one got kicked off, typical Ohio morons. Our linebacker who was supposed to be some amazing LB left over from the Carr years sucks, Warren can't stop mediocre receivers anymore.

Like I said they only good news is the whole offense is freshman and sophomores, excluding Minor and Brown who both are nothing compared to Shaw, Cox, FItzgerald, and Grady. Brown just passed 1,000 for his entire career and he's supposedly as good as Hart, yeah right.

On a side note I wish Iowa the best of luck and I hope they continue to win. Because then they'll be playing Texas, Florida, or Alabama most likely and Iowa may be able to come back from a TD or two with the help from some cheating dumb ass refs, but when they're down 70 to one of those 3 in the 4th quarter I doubt they come back. There so overrated and they just continue to get help from the most random things, but they won't be so lucky against one of those 3.

It's amazing how important the OL in college football is, isn't it? I still hope Penn State wins the Big 10; hopefully Iowa loses 2 of the next 3. It's pretty possible -- just one or two bounces not going their way anymore and its done -- i heard rumors on ESPN that even though the Big 10 doesn't typically call our referees, there would be some punishments for recent games

the newest USA Today poll came out:

1 Florida (50)
2 Texas (4)
3 Alabama (5)
4 TCU
5 Boise State
6 Iowa
7 Cincinnati
8 Oregon
9 LSU
10 Penn State
11 Georgia Tech
12 Ohio State
13 USC
14 Pittsburgh
15 Houston
16 Utah
17 Miami (FL)
18 Oklahoma State
19 Arizona
20 Oklahoma
21 Notre Dame
22 Wisconsin
23 California
24 Virginia Tech
25 Brigham Young

I seriously thought Oregon would have moved up more, but that should be made known in the computer rankings where Boise State is slipping fasttttt

Cincy and TCU are virtually tied for that 5th spot, Boise right behind them
Utah up two spots to 14, Penn St. up a spot to 11
USC dropped to 12, should they have dropped more? yes they should have after Oregon beat on em
Utah loss to Oregon by only 1 TD and they don't have a bad loss like USC does to Washington, whatever

Yes this is what I am talking about. Iowa vs Alabama. I'm hoping so much that happens. Iowa will get murdered.

Anyways I think Utah should be top 10. GT and PSU are both not as good as Utah.

If we beat TCU next week we will be top 10 i'm pretty sure
We have our easiest opponent on the schedule this week, a home game vs. new mexico

Some news:
OK State's Dez Bryant lost his appeal and won't play again, next time we'll see him will be in the NFL
Boise State has hired a P.R. person to try and get them into a BCS game, they should be worried
Florida LB Brandon Spikes suspended himself a full game after his coach only suspended him a half for a eye gouging incident. Yeh Urban really screwed up on this one, Spikes deserved a bigger suspenion for such a dirty act that has no place in this game

interesting games this week..
#9 LSU @ #3 Alabama
#15 Ohio State @ #11 Penn State
#7 Oregon at Stanford
#20 Oklahoma at Nebraska

Great win by Ohio State, knocking off Penn State 24-7 at their house feels great, next week we got Iowa who lost to Northwestern today LOL.
