The Official College Football Thread

Who will be the champion at the end of the season? Will they ever create a bowl system to make it fair? Which conference is the best? Who wins the Heisman, another 2 time heisman winner?

Come in here to discuss it all with all college football fans.

SEC is the best conference I let history speak for itself after SEC I would say that Big 12 is probably the second best conference atm.. and I think that either Sooners,Tigers or Gators will win the Championship this year. but watch out for the Longhorns also.... I think McCoy got a fair chance of winning the Heisman if he keep continues like he been playing with the Longhorns.. Utah could have another undefeated year who knows... Gators would probably get my vote to win the championship but who knows what can happend in college football .. I can't wait until the season starts!

Which Tigers? Auburn? Clemson? Missouri?

With the craziest schedule we've had in recent memory(our 3 toughest games - Oregon, TCU, BYU are all on the road! yikes!) and the ? on offense I can say right now that we aren't going undefeated again, but we will compete for the conference crown

If Boise State beats Oregon in their first home game they have a schedule set up to where they could run the table yet again
I don't think anyone in the Mountain West will go undefeated, so Boise would likely claim the BCS spot

Interested to see Oklahoma and Texas battle it out for the Big 12, I think the Gators have the SEC locked down, and hopefully the rest of the Pac 10 will give USC a bigger challenge this year. They say the Pac 10 is better this year, i'll believe it when i see it.

nice to see this thread pop up again and hopefully we can have an even better thread then we did last year.

im really looking forward to seeing what Penn State can do this year with Royster and Clark coming off a good season and Sean Lee returning on the defence. We've lost quite a few players on both sides but i think we'll maintain a decent record and get ourselves a decent ranking and bowl game.

If they get their **** together I think they got a shot at playing in the SEC Championship which I assume will be vs either Gators or Crimson Tide..don't sleep on LSU this year...
I don't know atm if LSU can beat Gators in a SEC championship game but I doubt it

Haha, I don't know why LSU never came to mind when thinking of the Tigers.

I'm really just waiting to see what Mike Yancich can do. He was a four star caliber Weakside LB recruit for us a few years ago and hasn't really been on the field at all. He was top-5 in the country at the LB position.

The Big Ten is kind of weak this year, I expect Penn State will still be top 3. Michigan State, Ohio State, and Penn State are the only legit teams. Michigan will have a lot better season than most people expect, especially with the conference being weak.

I think Florida has a lock on the SEC and Oklahoma will win the Big 12. Texas will be close but with all those guys who could of went to the NFL last year that returned, they are just too good.
