- We got lucky man, that fumble by Meriweather put us back in the game.

Important win against a great team this season.

Agreed and halfHavoc I must disagree, I think Tom has his confidence back now and the defense looked good near the end. I think they'll want to teach Mark Sanchez a lesson in playing in there division. We'll see how it goes.

Tom Brady was a little shaky at the start but definately looked like his old self in the second half as he completed a lot of throws and set up those long throws to Watson. Moss and Welker as always play awesome and im sure theyll get Galloway in there more to have that quick deep threat option. Defence was a bit over the place and hopefully Mayo wont be out for too long.

will definately be a great game against the Jets and i think it will be another close one as the Jes looked pretty good week1 and theirconfidence must be pretty high right now.

Yeah the big story for the Pats, other than Tom's return, is Mayo's injury. It seems that it got a little blown out of proportion and people were saying he was done for the year. But BB assured everyone he won't be out too long.

lol the patriots just couldnt get a whole lot going on offense, Brady was getting pressured all game and not much help from the running game. They definately need to work on a lot of things and on defence they seemed a little flat once Sanchez started throwing more.

at the end of the day though i wasnt all too surprised that the Jets won this game as losing Welker was big for the pats and not having Mayo on that defence definately hurt them aswell

Wes Welker was THE reason why the Patriots lost this game. 1) welker contributes a lot 2) he takes double teams off moss
Without Welker the Pats are basically a one man passing team. Joey still doesn't know all the offense or something.

While Welker is a big part of the offense you cant really always rely on just one player to be the game winner for you. In this game i definately believe that the lack in picking up the blitzes the jets sent all day long lost the game for the patriots. Last week the Bills had no pressure on Brady and he tore them apart, today Jets sent 6-7 guys alot of the time and Brady got rattled a lot of times and most of his throws were rushed.

If they had welker it may have been a different outcome but i think Edelman played pretty good, he isnt quite as skilled and doesnt attract as much attention as Welker woul but he stepped in his shoes very well and he's only a rookie. Galloway definately needs more time with this offense, last week he had a few botched up plays and today aswell. There is no doubt he'd be a great receiver to complement Welker and Moss once he gets everything down pat.
