Commercialized streetball ending?

AND1 hasn't put out a mixtape for 2 years, I've read a lot of stuff lately about them getting killed by local players and stuff, just reading on the link I'm about to post that even the B4R tour is pretty lame.

"Went to the Ball4real game in Detroit 2 nights ago and it sucked. The half time show was longer than the game and when they did play there wasn’t much excitement. One hour and 40 minutes of garbage and 50 minutes of ball. "

Do you think that streetball has been ruined by tricks and flashy dunks? I know alot of people myself included used to watch this sorta stuff just to see highlights, but after a while it became pretty repetitive and i wanted to see more grimy basketball like the stuff that comes on in NYC and Barry Farms. Check out this link to an amateur video of And1s latest tour...see how packed the arena is...

The real streetball is something like this http://youtube.com/watch?v=N1d8KYXeAMg , not a circus like AND1, and other p*o*s. Streetball should be though game but with rules, in my opinion.

The tumbleweed blows past, and you hear the crickets chirping.....

That event was DEAD!

exactly streetball is just playing outside and playing hard and not being scared to make mistakes but still about scoring and winning . I still enjoy watching and1 mixtapes especially 8 and 9. the problem is that too many amature streetball crews came along which were only focused on tricks with xxxl t-shirts and stuff.
