im in the process of puttin on some mass right now and youre skinnier/lighter yet taller than i am so i think you should eat more than what you have been...i even take a weight gainer supplement. 1000 cals per serving with 55 g of protein and 100+ grams of carbs...im aiming for around 3500 cals a day and 150g of protein. jemcee pretty much covred what you need to do but the hard part is finding time to eat that many meals and at the right times. also you need to go grocery shopping for yourself. im not willing to sacrifice all the goodies or pork fat, duck, beef fat, and all that stuff for the exact portions of oats/grains, lean chicken, fish, and lean beef all the time so i just eat whatever the hell i can whenever i can. youre really light for your frame with an extremely low body fat percentage so i suggest putting as much food into your body as you can as long as its not skittles and chips...u should only do cardio probably once a week if youre trying to gain weight...the more cardio you do speeds up your metabolism throughout the entire week

being a hardgainer is b*tch...people tryin to lose weight and we're trying to gain

Wow, you really are way underweight. You should be like 155 if your 6". Now if your gonna gain body fat, dont go and eat mcdonalds everyday. Eat all the chicken, meat, tuna, that you can. Take weight supplements and protein. But this maybe hard for you cause maybe you just have a very fast metabolism, so you might have to eat like 5-6 small meals a day.

Gaining Fat? Lol it doesnt make sense at all, well at least to lots other people out ther, I mean even if you are uber skinny you dont really want fat if you want to get huge why dont you try bulking up instead I mean theres no need for fat and nothing really useful can be gain from it other than insulating your body, etc but with muscle you gain strength, etc which is pretty much more useful than fat.

Actually at 3% bf, his kidneys are probably loose in his thoraic cavity. The kidneys are supported by fat tissue, so the more you have, the more it's locked in. Which is a good thing so you don't get any complications. There's definitely a need for fat healthwise.

LOL @ the dude who said he was 125lbs of muscle. You making professional bodybuilders look bad.

Milan: Start looking into some weight gain products since you will be 18 soon. And force yourself to eat more than you are doing now. You are underweight by atleast 20lbs which is not a good thing at all.

I know fats are essential for healthy human being, but isnt it depend on the type of fat? I mean if hes eating fast-food, etc which has bad fat such as trans fat etc how can that help for you to be healthy?
