You're right. My bad, I just fixated on the part of your post where you said that I must have no muscle at all.

First don't gain fat... You don't need to gain fat to build muscle that is a myth, the truth is that if you work out trying to gain muscle mass, not strength, gaining fat is a good indicator that you are eating enough to have your max muscle growth. (If you have good nutrition)

There are simplified 4 ways to work out
max strength
velocity strength
anaerobic capacity
endurance

with max strenth training you gain the most mass, but you should not jut do mass strength, it normally makes you slower, endurence is good but you want gain mass at all.

Milan, the best advice I could give you first and foremost is try to be happy with what you look like. I've tried alot of things to gain weight and look great but its so so hard to maintain it. I have a schedule which means I can't get in 6-7 meals a day. I've tried alot of weight gain suppliments and all of them taste ****in horrible. The way I gained was to analyse how many calories I got from each of my meals and how much training I was doing, basically I was doing what's called a maintenance calorie diet, which is were your input and output of calories is balanced so you don't gain weight and you don't lose it.

Like everybody else has been saying you need to eat more calories than you currently do

So the types of foods you need are

1. lean protein with almost every meal - chicken, lean beef. turkey, tuna and eggs
2. unprocessed carbs - oatmeal, sweet potato, rice, whole grain pastas, bread and cereals
3. fruits and vegetables every day
4. good fats - almonds, peanuts, avocado, flax seed, olive oil and eggs

next up you need to cut down on cardio, 15-20 minutes of medium intensity cardio is enough.

Just eat a lot of fatty foods and put on more calories than you can burn.

Of course, it always depends on what type of food. Unless his goal is too be the world's fattest man.

Eating "anything" and being under-weight is a sign of not eating enough.

Do you shop for food or do your parents?

What about max velocity anaerobic capacity strength training?

Would care to explain these four simplified ways to workout?

Sorry, I didn't see this post. My parents shop for food. I've been thinking about signing up to a gym but I don't have the money/means for transportation/school's about to start so I'm pretty out of luck. I would work out after school when it started but I'm planning of playing football/basketball this year and we don't have team lifts...

On another note, I really need to buy a scale...I haven't weighed myself in ages.

Learn to read the labels and give advice on what to buy. Learn to prepare your own meals...

No lifting sessions with the football team? Lift in the A.M. if it's a problem in the evening.

Not sure if this has been mentioned.

But while I was going to the gym 4 nights a week, I was on a routine known as a 'reverse pyramid'

It was essentially for gaining mass and strength

You would lift your heaviest maximum weight, then decrement the weight. It sound weird, but It does work.

E.g Bench Press - 1st : 10 reps of 60kg 2nd : 10 Reps of 45kg 3rd : 10 reps of 30kg

You would do this on most machines in the gym (I don't remember the names of them all) to work on as many muscles as possible.

It really in improved my strength, in 2-3 monthes my bench press went from 60kg to 120kg+, and I could curl 45kg on each arm. I don't work out anymore, so its not use to me now. (but I should). While I was doing 4 nights of gym I trained for our Basketball 3 times a week and played twice, so I was quite busy.

You should maybe going to a Gym and talk to some regulars or a Trainer and ask for their opinion.
