My Left Ankle ... !!

Hi guys , I dont really wanna talk about it bcuz it drives me crazy how I missed summer workout !! just look at the pics and u'll get everyth !! :

at least its not broken ! its just sth like an ankle sprain but my doctor told me that if I'm gonna play for a team or sth in future I should take this !!
for 3 weeks !!! its been 10 days now and its still 11 days to go with !! oh ... !

anybody has any experience like this ?!! any advice ?!! ;)

and one more thing !! a question ==> can I do a upper-body workout in these remaining 11 days ?!!!!!!!!!

yeah, as long as you didn't hurt anything else but your foot, you should be able to do any kind of upper body workout...

why is it in a caste if its not broken? I had a 3rd degree sprain on my right ankle and i didnt even get crutches!
Upper body workouts are fine, but avoid pressure on the left foot.
about 2 weeks if your cast is removed you should start doing some flexiblity exercises.

^^ as I said before , my Doctor told me that for the future high-intensity workouts and full-court professional basketball , I'd better take this !!
I,myself,cant tolerate it at all !! but I agreed just for that reason ...
anyway , thanks for ur comments n advices , I'm now sure to keep on doing my upperbody with no pressure on my foot ...

My ankle was injured just like the first pic in that article ... on a rebound ... landing phase ... !!! :((
