Question 10-11-2009, 12:26 PM

k, I was at ball training last wednesday and we did the fullcourt 1 on 1 drill. Im kinda slow but I make up for it with my long arms, strength and dribbling. so as am dashing, I kinda close to my defender his back was towards me for a second and I could lose tha ball if I continue my forward dribble (drop the ball on his back) so what I did was dribble OVER his back. almost like an in and out crossover but instead of bring in it back over I dribbled it in place switched hands. theres a good example of what am talkin bout in a shawn kemp clip during the fastbreak two piston defenders try and corner him near the half court line what he does is dribble over the defenders back pushed even harder and then ended up smashin bill laimbeer the **** up.

myne didnt look so stop and go-ish it was real smooth like I was changin direction but still is it a carry to change hands but it jus so happens that u do it over someones back?

somebnooddy must know..

jesus peace man I dun like ****in spammin.

its not a carry if you keep your hand ontop of the ball or if you don't palm it, but you can dribble over the top of someone if you want. I see it all the time in u12s lol expect they ussally carry.
