Macabi doesn't look that good in the begining of the season ;) Offense is o.k. but defense is awful :( 104 points from Partizan ???.. More than 100 points scored by Unicaja ? Spahja has do a lot of adjustments that team would play at the level the fans are used to.
Panathinaikos and CSKA look as early favourites of whole competition:) Moscow club has the same roster + healthy Andersen. Pao is of the deepest team I have ever seen.. They have so much great players.. Yeah Spanoulis, Lakovic left but team signed Delk, Vujanic,Becirovic, Siskauskas, Dikoudis, Javtokas.. Diamantidis look greater than ever, Batiste is one of the most underrated big men in the Europe.. Tsartsaris and Hatzivrettas are nice role players. Superb team ;p Tau Ceramica had bad start in Olympiakos arena but team is extremely talented and full of dangerous guards and forwards.. Though, injury of one big men (Scola, Splitter or Peker) can cause seriuos problems in the paint :(

Linas Kleiza is amazingly single-minded on the court. He is going to score. He’s not looking to pass, defend, nothing. His gift is also his curse.

Did anyone seen any of Olympiakos matches this year? They will be the best european team by February. Write it down so that you can remember it.

GREECE - U.S.A 101 - 95 01/09/2006- I will never forget

Olympiacos is pretty scary indeed, they have a deep roster.. everyone can come up and contribute big, also, Macijauskas will be back next year and that will even more strengthen this Greek powerhouse.. I love watching them play.. Acker, Penn, Domercant.. a joy to watch, i'm a fan :)

yeah, that's crazy, but Nikola Vujcic's 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists beats that, he's phenomenal. second triple in Euroleague history, second by him, amazing.

Yeah man, damn Vujcic's triple double was amazing indeed! He is the perfect big man for European standards where finesse actually wins muscle.
And yeah that 21 rbs performance by Turkcan was also mind bogling.Like I have been saying all along,European basketball can also cause thrills beyond human imagination even though it misses the whole highlight reel philosophy of the NBA.

vujcic was amazing that night when he made triple double and he scored 46
rating point and was the mvp of the week. but his play is very unpredictaple u'll never guess how he would play this night. if he would play every night, like in this game, he would be the best euroleague player.

Sry for double-post, but I want to rise this topic. This Euroleague season is really good. One of the best game this year is Efes Apilsne vs Olimpiacos. Then Olimpiacos was attacked from 3pointers. They made 10 3pointers in the last quarter. By the time the MVP is Navvaro which is playing unreal. And there's a new guy Badalonos Juventuts, whose 16 years old. So many stuff happening..

In A group, Tau Ceramica is in the first place. A new face came (L.Scola) to the team which shows very good results.
GROUP B Panathinaikos this season are unstopable. They always wins and have fixated in Top16.
GROUP C CSKA sometimes plays good, sometimes not too good, but they win almost all their matches. They lost only one game, but that doesn't affect them at all. So that's the performances befory New Year.

Anyways, who you think will be the 4 teams that will travel to Athens to compete for the Title this year? I'm seeing Maccabi,Tau,Panathinaikos and the 4th will be either CSKA or Unicaja. What do y'all think?
