Exactly, Partizan is famous for developing young talents. Nenad Krstic, Milos Vujanic, Scepanovic and so on... This club is like Olimpija - a place for young and talented guys to develop. Damn, tripkovic is 18 years old and have played more than 36 minutes in that game. scored 24 points. I guess it will be quite strange for you to see a yugoslavian kid coming on the court and scoring 24 points on Panathinaikos :AHH: I do not count out Partizan. As you have said, if they're on their day, then you have to worry. I remember how Zalgiris used to loose to Olimpija. If im' right there were 6 straight losses to this team since this season started. I'm happy that the situation have changed.. :)

Edska ,Vlado Scepanovic became a great player in Buducnost Podgorica (Montenegro)......
than Partizan took him....players that Partizan developed are Krstic,Vujanic
I dont know is anyone of you remember but we (Buducnost) had great team in 1999-2000 (first time to play Euroleague) 2000-2001 with lot of stars like Dejan Tomasevic,Igor Rakocevic,Milenko Topic,Vlado Scepanovic,Dejan Milojevic,Goran Radonjic,Dragan Vukcevic,Sasa Obradovic,Vladimir Kuzmanovic and Jerome James
we had four players that went to NBA and they are Igor Rakocevic,Jerome James,Zarko Cabarkapa,Aleksandar Pavlovic

Yea Scepanovic aint our talent....
Partizan made tho Krstic, Vujanic, Perovic(he still sucks bt he'll get there he's still really young..)
Bt b4 that we made serious legends i mean Danilovic, Divac, etc etc....
As for the Serbian teams lately they suck especially Partizan whose had most of its fans boycott it due to the teams participation in the Adriatic League tht fact mixed wit Divac's and Danilovic's pull out frm ownership of the club and the maintainin of a sh*t coach have led to its current record in the Euroleague... Personally even im surprised they survived bt i blame on Milojevic man the best player in the Serb leagues right now and by far the most underrated...
Geronimo is Igor a Red Star product? Frm wat i remember he was part of their youth development etc?

Aww sh!t we lost to Unicaja! :( (I'm Panathinaikos for the ones that don't know it btw)
Now we most probably lost the first place of our group. But I must say that the game was extremely enjoyable even though we lost.
And how about Efes Pilsen winning on Lietuvos' home court?! Impressive away win for them.Tau totally crushed Benneton winning by 18 pts,Pau won over Montepaschi and Procom beat Olympiakos by only two points. That msut've been a really close game throughout.Tough night for the Greek teams. :Thud:

And right now they're gettin PUONDED by AJ Milano @ Milano..
AJ are leading by 17 (!).
Hope They'll get themselves together with a sweet comeback (Maccabi).
AJ Milano owned us... :( 94-71.
Our most valuable player Nicola Vujcic is sick.. and that sucks!

Hey great to see here a Euroleague thread!I really wanted to discuss with you guys about European Basketball.
Here's a Tau fan for those who don't know it ;)
Well, I wanted to see that Panathinaikos - Unicaja game but I went watching my team...nothing special btw, we won easily...
I was impressed when I read that Unicaja won, I knew that they are playing very good but I thought Panathinaikos could win!So probably Unicaja will be the 1st team in that group right?
I'm happy of the game by Casey Jacobsen yday with 7 threes of 9 attemped for a total of 25 points!I hope he'll keep playing good,we need his game.
Today, Barça won on Cibona's home court by 20 points...and If I'm not wrong, right now Maccabi is lossing against Milano by 12.
Zalgiris over Bamberg and Climmio over Strasbourg.
And finally Madrid lost in overtime at home against CSKA.

Yeap Unicaja will pretty much be first on our group but Panathinaikos will be among the best second teams so we will be leaders on the new groups hopefully.
As for Jacobsen it's true that he can't create his own shots but as long as he shoots with such percentages Tau will be just fine.

Well, Lietuvos Rytas loss isn't really that surprising, cause as you may know Stelmahers didn't play. Rytas really missed him, his explosive 3pointers. That new guy acquired from ACB - Maurice Baker, looked pretty well. He's quick, got nice ball handling, but didn't show great ability to shoot the ball well from behind the arc or mid-range. He simply wasn't hittin the shots that much - only two times if I'm not wrong. Knowing that we missed Javtokas good game on the offensive end, he should have taken more shots if he really has good shooting. Maybe he just doesn't have great leadership abilities, who knows.. can't judge on only one game..
I was really surprised about Maccabi's loss, their best players really means a looot for them. Especially if that's a big fellow Nikola Vujcic. You know, it's always harder when you don't have a backbone under the basket... (Of course, Panathinakos loss either was unexpected. Though Lakovic continues to play well, he's having a great season, even better than previous probably)
And yeah, impressive shooting by Casey. Its both quantity and quality for Tau. Keeping in mind that Vitoria has more players that can step up and hit some big threes, you may assuredly say its the team with one of the best 3-point shooting in Euroleague now. Add David with Scola, and its almost certain they will be in the top4.
