I have the feeling it's gonna be a better final than both 2004 and 2005 when they played each other. Because Roddick is playing as well as he ever did, and Roger, well, I guess I dont have to explain that part.

I know im late cause the final is on tonight, but im pumped. This is the best i've seen Roddick play. Ever. I was so pumped when he beat Hewitt and then Murray. Interested to know how he'll go against Federer, but i think Federer will be able to take care of business. Plus Roddicks played a 5 setter and a 4 setter and Federer's been cruising through in straight sets.

C'Mon Roddick!

Congratz to Roger Federer for an unprecedented 15th Grand Slam Title. That's a truly remarkable achievement and may never be broken again. He's one hell of a competitor who knows what it takes to win. I only catched the end of Wimbledon, but what a match-up especially the last set..16-14. Incredible. It may be safe to say now that Roger Federer is the best tennis player EVER if you didn't think so before. Hats off to Roddick for the tough fight, I could see it in his eyes that he was pissed and disappointed in himself that he couldn't win it all, but he gave it his best shot. I won't be surprised if he does win it in the near future.

What a game. The final set was way too long lol

Roddick played a great game, too bad he couldn't finish that 2nd set in the tie break...would have been key. I didn't expect him to play the final so anyways, great tournament by Andy. What else can we say about Federer, I just hope Nadal comes back as soon as posible and gets that no.1 spot back again.

Roddick absolutely choked this game away. He should have taken complete control in the 2nd set tie break.

Federer's accomplishments mean nothing since Nadal was injured + Nadal will probably end up with 20+ slams when his career is over with.

Great match. Roddick left his heart and soul out there, he did everything he could yet came up short. Hopefully he wins another slam in the near future. Fed is officially the GOAT now. Props to him.

You are right that Roddick should have won the 2nd set tiebreak to go up 2 sets to none. Tiebreakers are usually his strong point but give credit to Federer for fighting back....But I disagree with your second statement, Nadal's grind it out game is more prone to injury that's why I doubt he'll be as dominant for as long as Roger has been and continues to be.

I don't expect Nadal to have as long of a career. But then he doesn't have to. Nadal has proven to be the superior player, Nadal started winning slams at a younger age and he's developed at a quicker pace than Federer.

And even if Nadal doesn't get to 20, he's already proven that he's the better player than Roger by dominating the head to head matchups. While Roger has never had a solid win against anyone that would be considered great,
