UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has withdrawn from his UFC 106 main event title defense against unbeaten Shane Carwin due to an illness that has forced him out of training camp for nearly a month. The UFC hopes to re-schedule the bout for early 2010. Stepping up into the main event slot will be the highly-anticipated rematch between former light heavyweight champions Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin.

- I dunno, Ortiz has been great. He barely beat Rashad Evans had he not held on to the cage and got a point taken off. He almost submitted Machida. He has great endurance. Forrest is coming off the most embarrassing loss in MMA history. Its bad enough to lose to someone a weight class below you... but its another thing to get utterly embarrased. He landed two strikes the whole match and gave up.

That type of loss sinks in with you no matter how hard you convince yourself to move on. Forrest is going through the same regression as Rich Franklin, and i dont think they'll ever be the same.

Probably is the strongest but overall Fedor is better. If Fedor can armbar Mark Coleman then I think he would have a shot at doing it to Lesnar.
