Robinho to Man City -
09-01-2008, 11:46 PM
now that Man City has a bit more money due to being bought out by the Abu Dhabi group they made their first purchase with brazilian Robinho. they bought him from Real Madrid for 40mil euros.
it will be interesting to see who else Man City shop out for, even though the transfer window has closed

Man City has paid 100 mil for all transfers during this summer!!!! (btw Barcelona second with 90mil and Spurs 3rd with 84)
Shawn Wright Phillips, Robinho, Ben-Haim, Jo (the one from Moscow CSKA), Zabaleta - some young Argentinian, Glauber - Brazilian young defender and Kompany - Belgian talent (one of best young defenders in Europe) - all major transfers this summer for Man City

It'll be hilarious when someone tells him that Man City are shite but I'm glad Chelsea didn't get him because they would have been even stronger than they are now.

I was a Robinho's talent fan since he was playing for Santos. I must say that he dissapointed me heavily, that's why i am very critical towards him. For me he is too weak physicly too play in premiership. I think he wil be a flop

WTF are you serious, didn't see this coming at all...his happened some years ago too with a "unknown" English soccer club when they bought Tevez and another superstar, kinda the same suprise to me, don't remeber the name of the club tho.
LAKERS 7-1
