The 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup is the eighth Confederations Cup, held in South Africa from 14 June to 28 June 2009, as a prelude to the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The draw was held on 22 November 2008 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. The opening match was played at Coca-Cola Park in Johannesburg. The defending champions are Brazil, who won in 2005.

Yesterday i watched the beginning of NZ-Spain but turned the tv of quickly. Torres scored a hat-trick in 16 minutes and the game was pretty much over.
Today i hope we'll have two more interesting games. Brazil - Egypt and Italy - USA .

god damn Egypt was a pretty big surprise for me, they played a ****in good game against Brazil. took Brazil a penalty kick to win the game.

well, they might have to win; if Italy wins or Egypt win by enough, we're looking at goal differential Brazil is +4, Italy is +1 so they can't let Italy win 2-0 Otherwise they'll be the 2nd seed (at least i think that matters in this cup)
