Though I would have said it anyway even if Real Madrid didn't go on a spending spree cause I am a La Liga fan. EPL is tougher to win in because it's a rougher league, and the CL is called more like the EPL than La Liga. La Liga is sorta like basketball now and EPL is like old basketball. If that makes sense to you.

Nothing against the EPL though, I just think with all this offseason trades/loans La Liga has taken a slight edge over the EPL.
In the case it's not about the teams only,it's about the exact League.

So EPL > La Liga, mainly because you have 5 teams (if we now count City as a big team) battling. You have the young and improving Arsenal team, you have the always hungry Liverpool, you have the rich boys at Chelsea's and Man City's face and you have Man United, which name speaks for itself.

In La Liga you have what ? Barca and Real.Only 2 teams filled with superstars. And I (and alot more people) aren't even sure that the Real M project would work.

Talking to aww walshy but just not quoting him.

Madrid is stacked... so you just have to leave it up to team chemistry. But, I don't see ronaldo getting along with many people there. Because he is used to "your the best" now other people are going to be saying "i'm the best" and stupid stuff like that will go down and it will eventually destroy the team. Just a theory. Don't hate on a theory.

IMO,that's exactly what separates good from great players.

The willingness to take from your stats for the good of the team. Now we'll see what kind of players Real Madrid got - good or great.

OMG i cant believe chelsea actually pulled through and got the winning goal. Anelka the scrub had so many awesome opportunities and drogba had had atleast a million shots on target. good game to kickoff the premier league and more games are starting in about 5mins

Ah Chelsea somehow managed to take it and now let's prepare to see Man.City and Arsenal later, two great games coming woohooo

City was good,I thought Blackburn will be good enough to make it harder,but...

It's been only a half and Arsenal is playing great and already has the lead woooo

Drogbas second gola was lucky but it was great.

Arsenal destroyed Everton with 6 goals. Dudu also scored one goal.

Yeah man,it couldn't get any better for us.

Vermaalen was hella good,he's got tons of potential and isn't short for the CB unlike Kolo.He also scored goal and I went crazy when he did it lol.

Actually,I think Dudu should be starting over Bendtner,so Persie/Walcott can be on the wing and Dudu can be our striker, because his sense for goal from what I've seen is unique.

About the other games I watched :

I was really surprised how Wigan dominated Villa and beat them at Villa Park by 2 goals and I was happy for Bent to score a goal in his first game for Sunderland.Manchester City impressed me,but I don't think the chemistry is there.Blackburn had their chances and could've stunned City at the start.

Can't wait for tomorrow,I want to see United w/o Ronaldo in the EPL finally.

Tomorrow i will definitely watch Tottenham-Liverpool. If you ask me the best game of the first round.

Arsenal played really good today but its gonna be a big battle this year for the first 4 places. If they can stay healthly they have some chancs. Im also interested to see how manu will look without Ronaldo and Tevez.

Ah yeah,I forgot about the 'Spurs-Liverpool game.I don't know who I'm rooting for, because as a Gunner I hate the 'Spurs and Liverpool are rivals from the Big 4,so I guess I'll just enjoy the game.

And you're right about Arsenal staying healthy and it already doesn't look good.Nasri will most likely miss a month or two and Rosicky isn't in shape at all.

As for Man U...I think Nani will step his game up this year.Against Chelsea he was pretty good,he still doesn't have the experience, but if they give him time,he'll prove he can be great for them.I'd like to see my fellow-countryman Berba to begin scoring like a machine,I'm always supporting him, despite the fact he plays for the Red Devils.

watched liverpool and tottenham last night and i was very surprised to see how badly liverpool were playing, they shouldve won that game but they couldnt finish a lot of their moves and Torres had a really bad game. Good win for tottenham but im sure liverpool will work to get back to form for wednesdays game
