We usually play better in the CL than in the EPL. We're usually more of a european league team.

You know, Chelsea v. Atletico could be interesting. Has Chelsea picked up anyone major in the offseason?

^no theyve been very quiet this offseason and i they didnt pick up any big name player. They have a very good squad as is and they are definately one of my top picks to win the CL. Should be some good games in there group with Atl Madrid and Porto both being respectable clubs. Im really looking forward to seeing what Man United can do, they have a pretty easy group but you never know.

Cyprus has a club in Champions League for the 2nd year in a row.

And for the first time a Latvian squad made it to either Champions League or UEFA Cup (I don't like the name - Europe League), I will cheer for FK Ventspils in UEFA Cup. Probably will see Heerenveen, Hertha & Sporting live at the stadium. Already saw Zurich, when they won Ventspils and made it to the Champions League.

Re: UEFA Champions League 2009/2010 - 09-15-2009, 09:27 PM

here are he scores from todays games

Juventus 1-1 FC Girondins de Bordeaux
Maccabi Haifa FC 0-3 FC Bayern München
VfL Wolfsburg 3-1 PFC CSKA Moskva
Beşiktaş JK 0-1 Manchester United FC
FC Zürich 2-5 Real Madrid CF
Olympique de Marseille 1-2 AC Milan
Chelsea FC 1-0 FC Porto
Club Atlético de Madrid 0-0 APOEL FC

gotta admit its kinda disapointing Juve didnt come away with the win and i thoought Atl Madrid wouldve handled APOEL somewhat easily. Kinda wish i stayed up and watched Real Madrid and Zurich score a bunch of goals

Disappointed Dzeko or Mismiovic didn't score for Wolfsburg but I'm sure they will have plenty of chances. I'm happy Manchester United won in Turkey, that place is tough to play at! So a 1-nil victory is awesome! Scholes showing it why he will go down as a Manchester United legend coming through time after time.

Milan are soooo weak. Both their goals were from offsides and I really liked Marseille, they played very good.
