Zidane, no doubt. Every time I've seen him play I get goosebumps. Cold, great leader, unmatched understanding for the game, increadible footwork and technique. At his best in the biggest games.

I would say Johan CRUYFF. To my mind, Roberto BAGGIO could also be there, if not the missed penalty vs Brazil at world cup 94, which definitely spoilt his future career.

I think hes above both of those guys, I love Zidane, but i dont think he was as great as Maradona.

Also no ones mentioning like the greatest striker of all time, Ronaldo, he had arguably the greatest season ever in 1996 with Barcelona he got like 36 goals in 38 games i think..... I mean he deserves a mention, he was the most dominant player of the decade..

Maradona was also a second striker but he played a lot of attack mid which can be considered a striker if you play to far up. So the hope point of this is why you say Ronaldo is the best striker when you rated Mardaona greatest of all-time which he played that position also you know what I mean?

Then on top of that Pele was also a striker, and he scored 1,087 goals

from what ive seen so far , Rivaldo and Zidane . Rivaldo was just incredble the best i have seen hands down .

i liked zidane a lot and he's my fav. pick but i also never witnessed games of other considered legens such as maradona or pele live in their primes..

and rivaldo? man he also was one of my favs but when he flopped against turkey in 2002 it was all over

Rivaldo was a great player also. Just like Ronaldinho he had a great peak but if you ask me it didn't last too long and that's why i wouldn't put him in this category.
