Best player ever!

Who do you think is the best player ever?

This is a personal opinion question because there was always one play that changed Football, like Pele in his generation changed Football then Maradona changed Football made it like it's not with all the fancy foot work, and Zidane changed Football in his generation as one of the greatest middle fielders to ever play the game. He showed why middle field so important and also with is artistic foot work and his amazing passes that would blow your mind away and how great of a holder he was.

of course you'll get Pele and Maradona in this situation but from what ive watched i would have to go with Zinedine Zidane. I watched him from his time at Juve to his last season at Real Madrid and the things he did was incredible.


im not counting out Pele or Maradona but all i ever really see of them is short clips here and there so i cant really pick them over someone ive watched for 10 or so years

Of course man Zidane has a HUGE influence on today's football! I love him he is my favourite of all-time. And I agree what he did at Juventus and at Real Madrid was EPIC!

I'm going with Pele. Even though I wasn't around to see him play, his accomplishments throughout his 21 year career speak for themselves.

you've kind of contradicted yourself, I dont exactly know how old you are but i wonder how much youve watched of Maradona and Pele to actually decide which one is better. All we can really look back at is clips and reputations of these guys and a lot more people say that Pele is the best player ever.


This same argument applies to many sports especially basketball where most people will say Jordan (even though they may not have watched him play) while others will go with Kobe or older players like Chamberlain because they will go off what theyve seen throughout their lives and what theyve read and heard of reputations of former players.


at the end of the day, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but your post just kinda threw me off a bit.

But if i have to name one player than it would be Maradona.

Pele for me.

Maradona was good, but still not the team player you are looking for. Maradona individually was the best but pele had it all.
