3 brooklyn amateurs trying to to get by. one a hot prospect, one an overlooked misfit, and one a woman who's having trouble with the law at the same time the NY golden gloves is taking place. it aint about a championship fight or winning big money, they're all amateurs but it's seeing how these guys live and what they gotta go through that makes this a great watch, knowing that none of em are most likely never gonna make it to the big time.

very moving, i think it's better than alot of documentaries about famous pros, you really want everything to turn out good for everyone in the end.

and it takes place over at the new bed-stuy gym where riddick bowe originally came from.
