Signature Rules (Revised)

New and Revised Sig Rules

Due to an awful lot of confusion/lack of clarity with the previous sig rules...they have been revised...

For those who have or are going to use signatures, please follow these rules:

1) Only one image is allowed in your signature (unless it is a member awards image, or any other exception made by LK)
2) Max size for your image is 550x150 (widthxheight).
3) No animated gifs (moving pictures).
4) No inappropriate sigs/avatars.
5) No advertising in signatures.
6) Maximum of 3 extra lines after sig, which must be size 2 max. If you want a quote below the image instead of 3 lines, you're allowed 1 quote only of 2 lines.
7) For signatures that have no images, please keep them to size 2 text max and 4 lines. Please don't make the text so long that is stretches the page.
8) For those who want to use the [quote] tags as an alternative to an image, please keep it to a max of two quotes with no more than two lines in each.
9) Editing of a sig is all down to the mods' discretion. They will have the final word on any sigs they feel may not be deemed appropriate

* Note- When I say "line", this would include lines to space out text..therefore, if you had this written for example

That counts as 3 lines, as the space of 3 lines is taken up...therefore, no writing one line, going halfway down the page and writing another one (for all the smartasses out there).

These aren't to say we are going to be trojans now looking for any sig that is outside these limits, it is just to provide a set of rules which back up the rules that are enforced and to reduce the lack of complaining amongst other things.

Please try to adhere to these simple rules to make everyones time on m2 more enjoyable and our lives a lot easier!
