So to re-phrase: The proverbial tree in the forest - focusing too less on the big picture and not on the minute details. In this case you have the apple/leaf on the tree - just one apple or leaf, a lot of symbolism - nice I like it. It almost feels like you can write a whole essay on it LOL

Yep, nicely done. It's not a leaf/apple, but that's my fault. I took a real, large pic of an olive (they're not always perfectly oval) and shrunk it down to scale. It's still probably too big, but yeah, it's "the proverbial olive branch", an offering of peace.
Definitely could write an essay on it though, you're right. For example, had the red version not looked so good I would've chosen another colour, I find it's too much of a contrast between the hellish look of the red version and the meaning of the olive branch.
