LamarMatic’s Throwback: Spree Scores 35 in ’99 Finals

LamarMatic August 23, 2011 3

Latrell Sprewell comes up big in an elimination game for the Knicks as he scores 25 in the second half to lead the struggling New York offense. Although Damon Stoudamire claimed that an NBA team can’t win the title with Avery Johnson as their point guard, The Little General proves him wrong with the shot of his career coming off a mistake by Sprewell, who didn’t play his best when it mattered the most - the last possessions of the 1999 NBA finals. It’s still Spree at his best though. June 25, 1999.

Enjoy!
